Limited to 6,000 pieces worldwide, this model marks Seiko’s continued partnership with World Athletics, a role it has held as the official timekeeper since 1987.

This special edition Seiko honours the return of the Championships to Tokyo after 34 years and pays tribute to the 2,000 athletes participating. The dial is finished in “Edo purple,” reflecting Tokyo’s cultural heritage and chosen as the official colour of the Tokyo 25 event. The case back features the official World Athletics emblem along with the engraved limited edition serial number.

Powered by Seiko’s Caliber V192 solar movement, the watch offers ±15 seconds per month accuracy, a 6-month power reserve, chronograph timing up to 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments, a power reserve indicator, 24-hour sub-dial, and a date display. The stainless steel case measures 39mm in diameter and 13.3mm in thickness, with a curved sapphire crystal featuring an anti-reflective coating. Additional features include a tachymeter bezel, screw case back, 10 bar water resistance, and magnetic resistance up to 4,800 A/m.
