Permanent jewellery are the perfect gift for your loved ones, or just to spoil yourself. It is a bracelet or anklet customised to fit your wrist or ankle by welding the metal on you.
My Jewellers, in our Burnie, Tasmania location currently offer a variety of chain styles in sterling silver and 9ct yellow silver filled.
How to care:
Our permanent jewellery does not require much care. Just use a microfibre cloth to clean when needed and make sure to not use any harsh chemicals on it!
Our 9ct yellow filled chains have a thicker layer of gold bonded to a base metal (in this case silver), which makes it more resistant to tarnishing than gold-plated items. This means, with avoiding harsh chemicals, your 9ct yellow gold silver filled bracelet will have minimal tarnishing.
Permanent Jewellery Care & Guarantee
Our permanent jewellery is crafted using very fine, high-quality chains designed to be delicate and elegant. Because of this, they should be treated with care. While durable for everyday wear, exposure to harsh environments or excessive force may cause the chain to snap.
We proudly offer a one-month guarantee on all permanent jewellery. If your piece breaks within the first month, we will re-weld or replace it free of charge.
After the first month, if you still have the chain, we’re happy to re-weld it for $20.

Walk-in appointments are welcome between 9am – 3pm, Monday to Friday, however, please note we cannot guarantee availability without a booking.
Yes, the welding process is safe and painless, involving a quick spark that fuses the chain's ends without touching the skin.
Yes, at no extra charge we can remove it.
No, you don't need to remove permanent jewellery for airport security.
Yes, charms can be added. A welding fee of $40 applies.
